How can I make my glycerin soap smell less like french fries?
We're making biodiesel in the lab and the from waste from the reaction we get glycerin. We've figured out how to make it liquid at room temperature, now we need to make it not smell like french fries and adjust the pH. Our main concern right now is the smell.

Lemon and lime are neutralizing smells, also mint leaves, they are all organic, and might help you out. (oh oh, vanilla might work too!) (not much of a chemist lol, but i know when you burn the coffee pot it make a horrid smell and lemon juice gets it right out!
